Discovering Smoothie Bowls

Morning Glory Bowl

Good Morning beautiful!! What’s better than a smoothie bowl? Only one this gorgeous – I honestly believe that the more thought you put into preparing your food, making it look beautiful – the more you will appreciate eating it. This little Morning Glory bowl makes me smirk at just the sight of it.

Ridiculously simple, minimal ingredients – and it’s something that my lazy bastard conscience can’t talk me out of making for breakfast (a crucial meal in the day). If it means dragging myself out of my cozy bamboo sheets a little earlier – it’s worth it. Too many of us skip breakfast or hit a drive thru – simply because we choose not to get up a little bit earlier. Avoiding your first meal complicates things in your system. Your body says: “So – I’m not sure exactly when I’m going to get some fuel – so I think I will store some fat just in case”. Next time you think missing a meal is helping you – it’s not. It’s working against you by going into protection mode. Make the change – get up earlier, embrace the morning, appreciate some quiet and prepare yourself a nutrient dense meal that will carry you through your morning.
