Rocket Fuel # 1

Rocket Fuel!!!  This is what I feel like I have ingested when I suck back a nutrient dense smoothie first thing in the morning. My regular followers and clients know my obsession for blending. Don’t even get me started on my weird love affair with my Blendtec blender either (that’s another entry for the blog). If I had $5 for every time a client told me “I don’t drink my food” – I wouldn’t be rich but I’d have some wicked pocket cash. Fast nutrient absorbing, easy digestion (which means less energy used by the body), consciously consuming more fluids, veggies, fruit and less fat – basically straight up Rocket Fuel for the system. I’ve hosted a few online Smoothie Challenges and converted many – even pinched off a few hundred coffee addictions.

I despise measuring my ingredients for my blender – that takes too long and annoys me. So dissect the recipes as you will – it is my interpretation of blender measurements (Swedish Chef if you will) – it’s the most fun part.

  1. 1 apple
  2. Big handful of blueberries
  3. ½ a lemon (without rind)
  4. Big hunk of cucumber
  5. A carrot
  6. Mitt-ful of kale
  7. Mitt-ful of spinach (what ever you can cram in there really)
  8. Small handful of parsley
  9. 2-3 cups of water (depending on how juice like you want it)
  10. Ice
  1. Fill Blender with copious amounts of organic rocket fuel
  2. Turn on Blender
  3. Find an itch to scratch
  4. Boom - Rocket Fuel
